WordPress’ Trackbacks and Trailing Forward-Slash (’/')

When I first wrote the post “Why and how I started this blog,” I submitted a couple of trackbacks with URLs that had a single trailing forward-slash (’/'). Those trackbacks never appeared in the post at the target site. However, today when I sent the trackbacks again without the trailing forward-slash, they worked. I haven’t checked the WordPress support site to find out if this has already been reported. I will do so after I post this.

I have disabled "nofollow" in comments
in order to reward
the legitimate commentators with some link love. I reserve the right to delete
(and all other rights on) any comment or the weblink, if I decide that the
comment is placed just for getting a link to a website, and does not in anyway
contribute to the discussion, or find that only keywords were left where a name should
have been. If I end up deleting the link from a comment or altogether a comment that was
well-intended, I apologize in advance. I’m sure you’ll understand and you’ll be back to contribute again! (
