WordPress’ Trackbacks and Trailing Forward-Slash (‘/’)

When I first wrote the post “Why and how I started this blog,” I submitted a couple of trackbacks with URLs that had a single trailing forward-slash (‘/’). Those trackbacks never appeared in the post at the target site. However, today when I sent the trackbacks again without the trailing forward-slash, they worked. I haven’t checked the WordPress support site to find out if this has already been reported. I will do so after I post this.
